Chapter 09
FAQ
Short answers to the questions people ask first.
Do I need a wallet to receive my fees?
No - not upfront. Sign in with a social account and you get a wallet automatically; or connect any wallet you already have. You need one only when you claim.
Can someone launch a coin for me without asking?
Yes. That is the point: the fees are yours whether or not you ever notice. Nobody can claim them except you, and if you never claim, they buy the coin back and burn it after 90 days.
What if someone launched a coin with my name but a typo in the handle?
The fees belong to whoever owns the handle as written. The launch form previews the live profile and refuses handles that do not resolve, so this should be rare - but it is the launcher's responsibility.
Does the launcher earn anything?
No. 2% goes to the person, 1% to the protocol. Launchers can buy at the opening price inside the launch transaction (the dev buy), which nobody can front-run.
What is the coin worth at launch?
Every coin opens at a $10,000 fully-diluted valuation for 1,000,000,000 tokens, in whatever quote asset it was launched with.
Can the liquidity be pulled?
No. The whole supply sits in a single-sided position owned by LPLocker, which has no withdraw path.
Why did my buy fail on a stock-quoted coin?
The operational guard can refuse buys during a sequencer outage or an issuer token pause. Market hours and stale USD feeds do not halt updated pools. Older deployments retain their original guard until migrated.
I changed my handle. Do I lose my coin?
No. After binding, the coin follows the platform's stable account id, not the handle. A new owner of your old handle inherits nothing.
I lost the wallet I claimed with.
Verify again from a new wallet. Because it is the same platform account, the escrow allows the rebind.
Where do I see everything for a person?
The person page (/p/platform/handle) lists every coin for them, which one is official, how much they earned in each quote, and whether they claimed.
Can I receive rewards through X Money?
Eligible US X users can request manual delivery of ETH rewards when the Claim page shows the service is available. We review the request before you transfer funds. A 5% delivery fee applies; conversion and the final payment are manual. Stock-token rewards remain available through direct wallet claim. See X Money delivery.
Is X Money delivery instant or automatic?
No. It includes operator review, your onchain claim and a separate manual payment. There is no guaranteed delivery time or automatic X Money API integration.
Did a delivery request move my rewards?
No. Only the subsequent wallet-authorized claim transfers rewards to the fixed delivery wallet. If you do not fund the request, your rewards stay in escrow and can be claimed to your wallet.
What does “Payment recorded by operator” prove?
It means the operator entered an actual USD amount and a payment reference. It is not independent confirmation from X. Confirm receipt in your own X Money account.
